The Eastern Minority Supplier Development Council is dedicated to connecting minority-owned businesses with corporate buyers. One of the biggest challenges the council faces is connecting purposeful and meaningful matches between suppliers and buyers. A key factor is diverse supplier awareness and attendance at EMSDC events. Cut ‘N’ Run, also a minority-owned business, has covered EMSDC events for years and has delivered videos stressing the importance of opportunities such as these.
Cut ‘N’ Run interviewed the employees of EMSDC as well as corporate members and diverse suppliers. The second step was to cover numerous events within the EMSDC network. The goal was to produce a video campaign explaining essential information and processes to potential members. Three social media promotions were also created to promote corporate sponsorship and enrollment.
